Jeez, you people are impatient! He was MVP last year, and had a great first month & a half; we're not even at the break yet. He's slumping, he'll get over it. He's one of the all-time greats, and quality always tells. I'd be more worried about the rotation, and leave A-Rod be. Besides, Soriano wants to go wherever he goes as a 2nd baseman, not an outfielder, and the Yanks don't need a 2nd base player, they need depth in the outfield. Soriano is on track to be one of the best offensive 2nd basemen in history, offensive outfielders are a dime a dozen.

Now why would you want to get rid of A-Rod? You don't want last year's MVP who also just happens to be the player of the month in May? And screw all you people that say he isn't a clutch player. He is tied for the lead for the most game winning RBI's in the majors. So anybody that says A-Rod is bad obviously doesn't know anything about baseball.

No,no,no..if A-rod gets traded, it's not going to be a reversal to get Soriano. A-rod is a good bargaining chip for pitching! Bullpen needs a lot of help and the starters are getting older.

Who will want to pay his salary? And make that 28 teams who might want him: he will never be welcome in Seattle again.
As for a trade or free agency, A-Rod will only want to play for a "winner." Tigers, White Sox, Twins, Athletics, Mets, Cardinals, Blue Jays and Red Sox Nation, look out! (I'm not implying the other teams are losers, if I've left yours out, unless they really are losers, like - meaning no offense - the Royals or this year's Angels.)

If his contract permitted the Yankees to get rid of him, I'm 110% sure that 29 other teams would jump all over him.

You $uck. Dont say stuff about A-rod if its a stupid opinion like you said. I know you're not a Yankee fan and you probably can't stand him, but just keep your dumb@$$ questions and opinions to yourself. If you dont have anything nice to say about anybody, dont say anything.
