The question is really what you want out of an mp3 player. Ipods are prevalent in society right now, so you can get all sorts of accessories to suit your needs. Also the ipod is simple and interfaces through itunes so you don't need to work to get music on it. However, mp3 players by Creative like the Zen Vision: M have extra features like an fm tuner and a voice recorder as well as better sound quality than an ipod. They also accept more formats of video and audio so you can put almost anything you own on there without conversion. The downside is accessories are much harder to find.

I think you should check out the Creative Zen Vision, it plays video just like Ipod, but the Creative has way more features on it than the Ipod. The creative has the Fm Recorder and Fm Tuner, an Organzier, a voice recorder, and the battery that comes with the Zen doesnt have to be sent to the factory to be replaced once it dies like you have to do with Ipod. If you know where to look this thing is cheaper than an ipod. I think that ipods are overpriced, and overated. You should get the Creative instead, the quality is also better.

most people will tell you Ipods are the greatest, and they are good, but they are sOoOo overpriced. Creative labs makes great mp3 player, the Creative Zen Photo is a nice one, I have a SanDisk Sansa m240 1 gig mp3 player, it sounds same if not better than ipod, has FM radio, Voice recording, the works.

I ******* Pods rock the house man! Get an Ipod Video...250 bux on Overstock...
but if you are looking for a more affordable one...go with any type of Iriver...they arejust as good but they dont have the same quality options as the Ipod...

ipod video. its expensive though but better than the nano. there the same price but with video and more storage. the nanos only have music and stuff and for the same price as the video.
