Never had this problem with my two girls. I've tried every diaper on the market and at least once a day he leaks when he pees. Is it a boy thing?

I too have had problems with my son's diapers leaking. Had lots of problems with leaks using Huggies. For my situation I found that Luvs or Pampers worked very well. You can also make sure when you diaper him that his penis is laying downward instead of torward bellybutton. This is what worked for me.

This is a funny question...My son is 11 now but when he was a baby his diapers did not leak not one bit. My friend has a 6 month old boy and his diapers suck. She has tried several brands but he manages to shoot poo up his back at least once a week. I don't know if he has powerful poo or if diapers are not what they used to be. The only thing I can suggest is try to change him more often. Unfortunately this will be more expensive. Good Luck!

My 5 month old son's diaper leaks very often. I tried a number of things.
1. Double diaper
2. Change brands and experiment. Pampers Baby Dry wasn't too bad.
3. Try a bigger size up. The bigger sizes are meant to hold more urine.
4. Buy a diaper cover meant for cloth diapers and put it over his disposable.

Hope this helps.

try the huggies supreme they are the only diapers that work for my son. he's my youngest and pees a lot. he is almost 2 1/2 and potty training and i still have to put the huggies supreme diapers on him at night because pull-ups leak way too much. stay away from store brands and pampers. store brands are made cheaply and when pampers get wet they bloat and fill to fast, huggies are more compact and hold wet better. you might also try putting plastic waterproof underwear on him at night and when you leave the house. i had to change my son every 1 to 2 hours when he was wearing diapers in the day. you should try a waterproof mattress pad for the bed.

Sometimes boys diapers will leak in the from because they pee up . Try folding the front of the diaper over (inwards) once to deflect the spray.

I'm not very sure because I'm not a mom, but I do babysit a baby boy down the street and it seems that his diaper never leaks! Your son could just have a big bladder or something.

If the diaper leaks there could be a few reasons. It could be that the diaper is just too full, its too big, or maybe just try pointing his penis down..a lot of times if its pointing up no matter what diaper you use it could leak.

i think i tried every diaper out there when my son was a baby. i had the best bet with luvs. then when he started walking i used the pampers cruisers. he must be peeing loads when he leaks. probably the time of day when he is drinking the most.

I have two boys and one girl and know what you mean.. boys do tend to leak more because well think about it, their penis moves and shifts in a diaper where as a with a girl this does not happen...try using pamper cruisers they are my favorite because they fit snugger then anyother diaper even huggies... hope this helps...

I was having the same problem. My son would pee right through. Sometimes it's because it was facing up and then I realized that the diaper brand huggies just wasn't working for us. I switched to luvs and we haven't had that problem since. Good luck!

YES...the thing that worked ofr me was to make sure his body part was pointed down when I put the diaper on. SOmetimes it moves over to the side and have a better chance of leaking. good luck
