some people think it stupid some think its cool and some think its a gainst god law what do you think

I think a person's body is theirs to do with as they please. Personally, I don't want a tattoo because I haven't found anything significant enough to permanatley mark my body. However most tattoos I've seen on other people mean something to them, so it's great that they've found something they can be so passionate about.

All of the above. I do not like tattoos whatsoever. People do it I've read here and heard elsewhere- to decorate their body like the canvass of art. Others do it to be unique, the other reason going back in time was to identify the person like they do or did in the military or as the Nazis did to their captives to identify what prison camp they were held in, by tattooing a unique number on the inner forehand. The popularity of tattoos these days is amazing, tribal designs, butterflies, devils, flowers, I've seen some incredibly good looking ones also, I think its become a fad, trend an obsession...

Some people do get tattoos because it's an "in" thing, and others don't. I like tattoos because they're a form of self-expression to something that's really important to you. I would never tattoo anyone's name on my body (except my parents, maybe). As for when I get older....I look at my grandma, who has no tattoos, and she's at an age where her skin is wrinkly, her hair is graying, and so on and so forth, and she STILL looks good. I think when you get to a certain point in your life you really tend to stop caring what others thing, because you have to do for you and f%ck everyone else!
So when I get old and my tats look nasty, it's all good. I'll still be beautiful :)

I think they're a bunch of trend bops. They get them because it's the "in" thing to do. I don't care about that "god's law" crap because god is a hoax.
But you aren't gonna find me with a tramp stamp or any other tatoo. There simply is nothing I want to brand myself with for the rest of my life. Plus when you get older, they look nastier and nastier.

theres loads of reasons why people get them and its not cos they are criminals!!!!!!!
for those of you who have slagged them off cos you think they look stupid remember the world would be a boaring place if we all thought the same and also to "stive br" you cant judge a book its cover.
im just glad unlike some of you i have an open mind

theres nitnin wrong from my poitn of view to have a tattoo its just a trend or a show off there s no gods law in it

it makes you more individual.i have a cheeky little devil on my butt,i chose to have it where it is covered as i know that when i get older it will look stupid.i think tattoos are fine so long as you think long and hard about it and remember it will be with you for life.

people do it for different reasons. some want them for a outward expression of their spirits. some to shock. and actually, some people hide behind them. they put out messages to the world about who they are and who they want you to THINK they are.

I got one after i did Ironman triathlon...it was a big deal for me...alot of training....and so i did it. It is small, not noticible, but its a reminder to me of something important.....
