should be on the left side of the engine compartment(passenger side) . there will be two metal lines that run into the firewall , each of these line will have a cap on them , one is blue(suction side) and one is red (discharge) DO NOT TRY TO CHARGE THE SYSTEM THROUGH THE RED SIDE!!!! this could cause the higher pressure in the line to equalize into the can you would be holding and boom! since federal law prohibits any unauthorized or unlicensed person from working on any HVAC/R system , spend the money to have a qualified mechanic leak check the a/c system . might cost more now but it is cheaper in the long run especially since the EPA can fine you up to $25,000 for releasing an HCFC (refrigerant) into the atmosphere.

look on the A/C (metal) lines going to and from the compressor. someplace you will see a valve, like a tire vale. that's the place. most cars have a cover on this valve. hope you have the right freon, also, i hope you don't have the old freon in your system. new type freon and old type freon don't mix.

The Schrader Valve or AC charge valve looks similar to the valve on a tire. Look for a small cap with a valve underneath.
