Sure, Men Without Hats tells me that it's safe to dance, but apparently only if I leave my friends behind because they don't dance. How does someone else's lack of dance talent make it safe for ME to dance?

If they can't dance, and they don't dance, then they don't get in your way when YOU dance. Seems pretty safe to me.

lack of dancing has nothing to do with being safe if you mean your out with your friends and you dance as someone asks if any of you dance or if you want to dance and you all say not really and they say you'll be safe with them on the floor. its just a way of saying you'll be safe with them dancing and not get kidnaped or something or something slipped in your drink. girls go out to hang out and have fun and try to get free drinks. many don't want to dance but with their friends and some will dance with others just to have fun.

put some rice in a sock (tube sock best) tie a knot in the top then heat in microwave for a couple of mins makes a great heat pack. Hopefully heat will loosen the muscle.
