Typically, the nosebleed seats in an arena, coliseum, or theatre are very high up, far from the stage. Now, normally, the view from those seats is considered undesirable. Sometimes, however, they provide the best vantage point. Case in point: "Brand New Day," with Celine Dion at the Caesars Palace Coliseum in Las Vegas. Because of the very large choreographed production numbers, those nosebleed seats are the very best!

It's a term for seats that are way up in the highest tier or balcony of a theatre or stadium. (or any venue, for that matter) They are the least expensive seats for a reason - they are so high up, that you'll get a nosebleed from the altitude. Just kidding! You won't really get a nosebleed, but the seats are very high up. If you bring a pair of opera glasses or binoculars, it's a good way to see a show on a budget.

"Nosebleed seats" or the "nosebleed section" are terms referring to the seats in a stadium or arena that are the highest off the ground and as a result, the furthest from the action. The name is based on the story that you are sitting so high up that the oxygen is thinner and you get a nosebleed.

the nose bleeds are the really far away seats.
they are called the nosebleeds because they are typically elevated higher then any other seats in a stadium. and High altitude can cause nosebleeds. but sitting in the nosebleeds will not make your nose bleed because you would have to be much higher than the top of a stadium for that to take effect.

If you buy tickets to an event that is held in a large arena or stadium and you are seated on the uppermost seats in the house - the very highest away from the playing field or stage - then you are seated in the nose bleed section. That means you are so high up in the world's altitude that you could have a spontaneous nose bleed because of the oxygen, altitude, etc.

It means it is the highest seats available - typically farthest from the stage as well... referred to as "nosebleed seats" because they are so high in altitude they could cause nosebleeds (not really possible - it is a bit of humorous label)

It means seats that are really, really high up, implying the altitude is so high you get a nosebleed from being up there too long. They're usually the cheapest seats.

It's the seats so high up and so far back that they'd cause a nosebleed.
