Easy, Top Cat; because he's the most effectual, who's intellectual, and close friends get to call him T.C., providing it's with dignity.
Top cat is the indisputable leader of the gang, the boss, he's a VIP, he's the championship, the most tip top, he's the chief, he's the king.
Garfield is too lazy, Sylvester is a lovable loser, and Tom can't take a mouse.

In this battle, Topcat will win. He is Underdog's physical superior, plus he can imitate his enemies trademark attacks. Garfield is not capable of the prolonged activity a fight would introduce. Sylvester, although strong, lacks the wits and attention span to win...unless Tweety is the prize. And Tom got his *** handed to him by a little mouse more times than I can count.
Topcat is the winner.

Garfield. I don't know who Topcat is, but Sylvester and Tom can't even beat their adversaries (a cute little bird and mouse!). Garfield may be fat and lazy, but he's still a very smart cat.

Tom Cat from the Tom and Jerry cartoons would win.
Yes Top Cat may be smarter, he liked to pull a lot of con games on officer Dribble, but as the classic book "Lord of the Flies" illustrates so well, being smarter is nothing if you don't have any muscle to back it up.
Garfield is a fat lazy slob
Sylvester is border line mentally retarded...c'mon he thought a baby kangaroo was a giant mouse!?!
Tom is the only cat of that bunch who actually fights mice and kicks azz! Oh he doesn't always beat Jerry the mouse, but he gives as good as he gets!

Garfield, of course, because of his superior intelect to Top Cat, Sylvester and Tom. Top Cat is more of a gang leader, pretty smart, but not as smart as Garfield. Sylvester and Tom are complete idots, always injuring themselves by the mere presence of a character ten times smaller than them. plus, Tweety and Jerry have bull-dog bodyguards (Spike for Jerry, and the otherone for Tweety)

garfield definitely. i don't know how he does it but he always manages to win especially if someone or something is threatening his food supply. topcat is too stuck on himself and sylvester and tom cannot seem to catch a bird or a mouse who have been living with them for years.
