owhy do i like to get so high?

been doing that for the past 40 years one and it was one heck of the lucy in the sky

My husband was the same way.He was a real Woodstock guy.He lived and grew up 17 miles form it.We were married 34 years. He lived to be high,I didn't.I had to make sure the bill's were paid.He taught our son's to stay high to.They have had very hard live's because of it to.My husband died 3 years ago,high,of cancer.I now life in the same junkie little trailer,next to a family of junkies.I'm hungry,and my youngest son of 31,lives with me because he's going to drug-rehap.My back and hip are gone,from hard work the last 34 years making enough money to pay for everything,all my husband's money went to keep him high.I feel for the woman who Love's you.She will be standing in the food line with me,after you die.I Loved my man,but that's all I ever got for 34 year's.That's all.

You get so high , that exhilarating feeling of I can fly, and touch the sky . After 40 yrs you probably still do see Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
As far as Hendrix screaming guitar, Joplin's raspy low down blues voice, Ian Anderson standing on one leg like a Crane playing that flute, what a waste of talent and life from drugs.
Personally I am glad to have joined the establishment, learned from that generation of, yes progression, and free thinking , however sorry that it also gave the future generations an open door to the world of toxins.

Making yourself artificially "high" is allowing yourself to become inured to the reality of the five senses of life. You are not experiencing real life when you do this; you are avoiding what's real. Reality highs are much better, last longer, and have more meaning. There is no Lucy in the Sky in reality, only in lyrics.

I'd rather smoke something God provided for me than fill myself full of the bull the pharmaceutical companies dump at our feet everyday. Read one Anti-Depression medication ad. Blah,blah,blah is "believed" to treat depression. They aren't 100% sure of it's effectiveness, but the side effects of said medications are very well proved and documented. No pot smoker I've ever known (and if you're one, you know plenty) ever died of liver failure due to kind green bud. No one can say the same for man-made medications. It's all in the way you use it.

Because it's addictive, duh! Because it is very hard to clean yourself and start living. Life is not easy. But do you want to sleep through all of it, when you only have one life to live? You can get clean. People do it and stay clean for years and have real lives.
