Thnx for the reply in the question about what dessert you would be. Quite humorous and i'm sure her pie IS to die for!
I get stylish clothes at the thrift store all of the time. I think it's rediculous to pay such prices for 'new' clothes. If I shop anywhere else for clothes it's at wal*mart in the clearance section so hell yeah! Garage sales are awesome too...clothes for a quarter or a little more...not an arm and a leg! My kiddios are still young enough to wear them...not worried about their style yet, just what they can get into, and how many walls a day they can bounce off of lol.

Heck yeah! I don't buy anywhere else! (except for the undies and shoes, you know). You can get great bargains, and stuff that's got personality, not millions of the same thing on the rack, like in the regular stores. I've even seen things I really liked, elsewhere, like something Liz Claiborne or whatever, then before too long it will show up in the thrift shop! I love when that happens. :-)

What? Trashy if your over 25? Please! You can find some great bargains and practically brand new clothing in thrift stores. And plenty of respectable office and casual attire. Its not the store that makes the clothes trashy its the person who picks them out. Trashy is as trashy wears...hehehe. kidding.
Thrift and second hand stores are awesome!!!

It is totally cool. I look at it as finding treasures. "look at what I can find for $2". It also is eco-friendly because the clothes are being
reused instead of tossed. For people with money issues it is great because if you are patient, you can really come out with some great outfits/buys. But I just enjoy the thrill of the hunt.

I agree smart way to save money ...I went to a vintage clothing sale and they had everything over priced as they said it was antique retro and gothic ...they probably bought it from a thrift store .

It's smart to save money. If wearing thrif-store clothing is cool, well you are saving money at the same time, and that's always cool!

I don't like it since some have already lost there true quality and even sometimes smells really bad. I prefer a Dolce & Gabbana shirt.

Great if you're under 25. For the rest of us it just looks cheap and trashy.
