whenever iam on computer, the broadband works super fast and perfect, but i feel somewhere that the wires are not plugged in properly and the modem is connected to the CPU loosely. i have to always check and re-plug in everytime. how can i reduce this temptation?

This is very highly unlikely. Why do you feel though that things aren't plugged in properly when everything is working "super fast and perfect"?
If you have a habit in your life of obsessively checking things that you know are perfectly OK, that could be a symptom of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Check with your doctor if so.

Could be a problem with your ethernet cable or your ethernet card.
