Well, that was 3:52 of my life I won't get back. :P
But to point out, there is only one verifiable documented case of an unaided voice breaking a glass and it happened on the show Mythbuters in episode 31 "Breaking Glass". I think your "Nitro" singer guy might've been the one they briefly touch on as being one who claimed to be able to do it at will but failed to when confronted.

Nitro IS a hairband from the 80's.
They have a lot of talent - but it's just not my style.
The lead singer is married to Lita Ford - I wonder if they do each others hair!??!
