The screen originally froze up and it turned off so when i went to turn it back on it said there was a missing folder and it wont let me access my iPod on the computer any more. Are there any programs I can use to get onto my iPod hardrive or at least fix my iPod?

I dunno.. Maybe you put it inside your freezer??

Advice: put your IPOD in a very High temperature pan until it unfreeze..

Hope you do it and will help..

I think Ipod is lacking restore programs. My Zen Vision M does have this auto restore function whenever things hang up (playing a defective video file). I suggest you try to get to a customer service representative or to the Apple store. If you still have warranty have it replaced. FYI, I heard there are a lot of ipods being returned this days. I need to confirm it yet. Just to be safe, be sure to keep all your warranty documents. Hope this would help

These five steps (known as the five Rs) will conquer most iPod issues.
1. Reset your iPod.
2. Retry with a different USB port.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Reinstall iPod and iTunes software.
5. Restore your iPod.

(Try this before you exchange it!)

you have to return it to the store where you bought it and have it replaced! Do you have the receipt for it? That happened to my sons and they exchanged it. Some batch are defective.
