We really need more information. Does your freezer work?
In almost all refrigerators, the cold air is originally pumped into the freezer. There is a door between the freezer and fridge that opens more to make it cooler. Check to see if you have spilled something in your freezer that is blocking the passage between the two. Also, check to make sure that you don't have so much stuff in your fridge that may be keeping the air from flowing in.
You do need air to flow around the coil, so it should be free of dust and far enough away from the wall to allow air flow if the coils are on the back.

If a refrigerator doesn't cool at all, the problem is often with basic electrical controls-almost never with a need for a boost of refrigerant. Do not assume that the problem is related to the compressor or the sealed hermetic system-these types of problems happen only rarely. It may have dirty condenser coils, a door that doesn't seal tightly, or a defective temperature control.
1) Check the cold control. Be sure it is set to "cold." Normally, the temperature inside the refrigerator should be about 37 degrees F.
2) Listen for the freezer fan inside the freezer. When the freezer fan is running, it means the defrost timer and the cold control in the refrigerator are both set to cool.
3) Listen for the compressor fan, where the compressor is located (typically behind or beneath the refrigerator. When the freezer fan is operating the compressor fan should also be working (most of the time).
4) If one of the fans is not working or the compressor is off, the refrigerator will offer very little cooling

You probably have a freeon leak.Or all out of Freeon.
It happend to me.
If your fridge is new, it should be under warranty.
If not, then get a quote.
It may be cheaper to buy a new fridge.
Here's another piece of advice.
If you do need a new fridge check into a reputiple guy that sells refurbished appliances.
That's what I did.
I got a Kenmore fridge and stove for only $600.00
Been working great. That was 6 months ago.
Some will even give you $$$ for your old one.

Your question is not very clear - you might want to revise. Do you mean its not keeping the inside cool or its not blowing cold air out the back? If you mean the latter, that's normal - in order to cool, refrigerator's blow warm to hot air out the back. If its not keeping the inside cool, then you have a problem and without more details, no one is going to be able to tell you what is wrong with it.

hmm maybe the area where you have it is to hot. try putting a fan somewhere behind it or on the side anywhere where the air would hit the motor and see if that works. If not it's probably broken. My mom was like that and they ended up taking the refrigator out of that area and the problem was solved. Good Luck.

If it starts and humms for 10 secs. and cuts off, it is 1 of 2 things. Either the compressor is locked up, or the start relay is bad. You can ohm out the relay if you have a volt-ohm meter, as well as the compressor windings. However, ohming out a locked up compressor may show that the windings are good, but it will not prove the conditions of the bearings inside of the compressor. Good luck and God Bless.

Have you cleaned the coils(newer ones under the refer. older ones on back) Is the freezer working. How old is it If over 10 years old get a new one. A repair call out will probably cost you 1/3 the price of a new one but if it is 10+ yrs old it is wore out

You will spend $100 to get it serviced, more if you need repairs. If it is 12 yrs + old, consider buying a new one.
