do you agree that the use of technology such as computer, the internet, television makes you successful in life? why?! are students who do not have computers at home have an unfair disadvantage? Are job seekers who have a computer more likely to find a job than those without computer? What can be done to ensure that all members of society have access to technology?

Technology has always discriminated, and it probably always will.

Television is fairly universal, it probably does not confer any advantage. My personal opinion is that it is a disadvantage, but you did not ask my views on television.

Someone with a computer at home has an advantage over someone who does not. Someone who has computer skills has an advantage over someone who does not. In this day and age, someone who has access to a computer and has computer skills has an easier time finding employment than someone who does not.

Thus is hardly a new phenomenon. We live in a society where literacy is very common, but it was not always so. People who can read and write have a substantial advantage over people that don't. People who have college degrees generally have an advantage over those who do not. Does this mean that college degrees are discriminatory?

maybe? only the wealthy can afford the good stuff... and older people have a hard time learning it. its not really geared towards them as much as it is for younger people.
