my dr just recently prescribed me zoloft for my horrible pms. but i am scared. during my researching, every article i read brings up depression and suicide. i am not depressed or suicidal. i am just very hormonal and irritable 2 weeks a month. i was wondering if zoloft is ok to take only for pms.

I take Zoloft for PMS... and no you don't have to be depressed or suicidal to take it... i take it because of the irriabltity, no patience, and mood swings and yes it does help, try taking it for at least two weeks and see if you feel a difference, if after two weeks you don't then talk to your dr. again... Good Luck!!!
