How do I get my desk top to play music? There is no sound out of the speaker. It seems all is plugged in. Thx.

There may be more than one place to plug the speakers into the computer. Make sure you are using the right one. Check your volume control. Most computer speakers are powered. Is the power connected?

If all that looks correct, you may have a problem with the sound card. Has it ever worked? If not, maybe adding a new driver would help.
