Even if you are paid salary, you still can break your salary down into a per hour basis. You get paid the same amount of money no matter how you label it. Just divide the salary by 2080 and that should be your hourly rate. So if you had 2 days of vacation, it makes sense to pay you your hourly rate X 16. And part of how much you have depends on how they accrue the vacation, there are lots of different ways.

If you are a salary employee, all of your pay will be based upon your weekly salary.

If you are an hourly employee, all of you pay will be based upon your hourly pay rate.

If you quit, why does it matter?
