Whenever I want to make friends via the Internet or just talk to them it seems to me that they think of me as of:

sicko
maniac
jerk
and so on

How to show people that I've no hidden agenda and my only intention is to talk with others?

How to show them that there's is no catch in what I'm doing?

There really is no way...on the net you could be anyone and we've all seen enough news reports to know that sickos and maniacs use the net to find prey. People are just being cautious...as should you!

Say hello politely and try to keep your messages sincere, direct and short. When they feel that you are truly honest about your friendship, they will respond accordingly. :)
