Yes sweety, it's milk...or more specifically first milk called colostrum, it's darker colored and very rich in nutrients for the babies first days. It's totally normal, please dont worry it wont stain or hurt anything...it's really a good sign that everything is going well. Best wishes

It is just an indication that your are going to have very good milk production. I did the same thing with my first child. I actually produced so much colostrum that I had to sleep with two towels under my breasts at night. (getting up in the middle of the night to change sheets was getting really old!!).

I had enough milk production to feed three babies with my first child's birth. You should go get a couple boxes of breast pads for wearing inside your bra during the day. If you are going to be nursing, you will need them anyway. LOL, the whole first month after my daughter was born I actually had to fold up two wash cloths and just stuff them in my bra because I would let-down at the most embarassing moments. The baby will actually regulate your milk flow after about a month or two.

The following two pregnancies it did not happen.

It sounds like it could be milk. With all the hormones involved with pregnancy, it sounds like your body is just trying to get the hang of lactation. It can happen while your still pregnant and shouldn't be cause for concern. You'll just want to make sure you clean your nipples in the morning to avoid any milk plugging a duct and possibly causing and infection. Enjoy your pregnancy!

I realize that I am not a woman, but I have been through six pregnancies with my wife so could you allow me to make a comment?

Your nipples are doing just what they were made to do. You are producing milk for you soon to be born child.

I suspect that your husband likes to stroke and lick your breasts and that makes the nipples alert to the sucking that your baby will do.

Forget about it. It is perfectly natural. Enjoy this time and don't worry.

it is colstrum...its more of a yellowish type of premilk..you might need to go and get some breastfeeding pads you will start leaking alot more after the baby is born f your already leaking now. Wear a bra at all times it helps keep it in.

This is completely normal. I used to wear a sports bra to bed and put nursing pads in it...it really helps. You should check out the book What to Expect When You're Expecting....it covers everything really well. Good Luck.

Colostrum is very high in protien for you newborn. That's all that it is. It's all the nutrients and protien that your body produces over your years. I just took a breastfeeding class and that's what they said. I've been leaking too and I have one week left until my due date. Good luck!

yes and that is a GREAT sign....you might have to wear a bra with pads in them to avoid trhis unless u don;t care if your clothes stain. But it most likely means that you have great supplies of milk going ot come in.

I really wish that people would stop referring to their pregnancy as prego ! Its a spaghetti sauce ! Its so childish sounding ! Just stop it okay !
