I think it's sad that the people don't understand what's going on. Our freedom is important!! The government hase to work on both issues. They are helping poor people. There are food stamps and housing projects and all kinds of stuff that are there to help the poor. My kids get medicade and it's free to me. I don't have to pay for their doctors or meds. I'd like more help...sure! But as a matter of what is "more important," the safety of our country and freedom from terrorists and foriegn attack is important too. Without the freedom we have as a nation, the poor would suffer even more. It's kind of like asking, "which is more important, food or air?" We need both and they are both necessary for life.

Of course I believe in doing what needs to be done here at home . But we are in this war and although I don't support the war, I do fully support our men and women that are fighting there. Old men start wars, young men/women die in them. Either finish it now or bring our people home. After we are gone everything will go back to the way it was, and maybe that's the way the people of Iraq want it to be.After all it is their country .

Well first off, this war is not about oil. But your lack of education is evident in the structure and grammar of your question. I am so happy this president has dedicated more money in this administration to education than previously spent. Hopefully you will get the education you so desperately need and will use your head for something other than to parrot others as misguided as you.

Thats a no-brainer! The commonwealth of the US people should
always be the top priority of any politician. I know what I just said
is an oxymoron but it doesn't hurt to believe.
