You might be thinking of Hallelujah written by Leonard Cohen and sung by Rufus Wainwright. "I've heard there was a secret chord that David played and it pleased the Lord...hallelujah hallelujah" or some remake of that song.

It's called Hallelujah. I love the Jeff Buckley version. it's great.
