Maybe start by asking, "what is nothing and do you want something to be after it?”
In my humble opinion, absolutes are just limitations of our ability as a species to perceive the world around us. So if we say there is nothing and believe there is nothing, then there is nothing. However, we do have imaginations. So what’s after nothing is what you can imagine.

If nothing is absolute than nothing would equal 0 then:
0x0=0
0+0=0
0-0=0
0/0=0
Unless nothing is interrupted with something, nothing will always be nothing.
