Why do so many guys seem to assume that if you kiss them you're willing to sleep with them and get really arsey when you won't and start calling you a ****-tease?
Seriously, just because you kiss someone, why would you necessarily assume that you're going to get sex?

Really I know just what you mean. That is a question I'd like to know the answer to as well. Because that happens to me alot too. Say I go on a few dates with a guy, maybe I'll give him a kiss.Just because I do does not mean I want to sleep with him!!! I mean I'm not "loose" I have to really get to know a guy before I'd consider sleeping with him!!!!!

Maybe if the rules were made clear to both sides the confusion would not occur. It is known by a woman from the outset of a relationship that the man has already made up his mind about whether he wants a sexual relationship, however this knowledge is kept hidden from the men. Don't blame us for not being psychic, if you don't want to cause confusion then make your mind up and let them know the answer.
If you force the men in your life to try mind reading you will realise it is a skill not many people have. Don't then get arsey and blame men because you want to hide the facts and the man gets the wrong impression. Plus why the hell should it take weeks to decide to enjoy pleasures of the flesh, unless you are devoutly christian. Learn to live a little and don't be annoyed with others who choose to live their lives.

Well, this cannot be answered in general, since it very much depends on the individuals involved.
Some men have limited brain power and think mainly with their sexual organ, other are civilised, cultured, educated and would not be like that.
And the same goes for girls and women as well. Sometimes a single kiss is the opening signal for a lot more, and in other cases a thousand kisses will not lead to anything further.

Simple:- women chose men and set the game up so that men think they chose them. As a man can't sleep with you without your permission otherwise it's rape, so men have second choice(sorry did i just upset a few guys ego there), therefore, if you kiss a guy he naturally takes it that you have given consent that you desire more with him, and given you are to be acted upon and we are the actors we naturally take the next step to progress it further in the natural act of re-production, given thats all were really here for and all the rest we make up to give life meaning. So I suggest that if your not prepared to go down that road and take responsibility for you part in it and stop abdicating responsibility for being the match that lights the fire. Don't do it and don't blame men for what your instigating If you do what works you get what works and human beings complicate it with shalow judgements that are not "the truth"

It's not an assumption that you will it's a hope that you will. Men will test and press the limits, given an opportunity. But, if they are getting upset when you say NO your dating the wrong guys.
It also depends on how you kiss them. There are kisses that say I like you and there are kisses that say I'm willing to do more. Your body language during the kiss. How you press up against him. Where you allow him to touch you during a kiss. All this has unvoiced meaning and con b open to interpretation.

sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong, is it right for you to assume that every guy should automatically know what your intentions/reason behind every kiss, unless you want to be wasting 10min before and after every kiss/action just accept that guys will make assumption(guys aren't mind readers, women are better at mind reading so if your fed up with guys then turn to girls), but it's more wish full thinking then assumption, put yourself in a guys shoes, your useless at reading minds so all you can do is try to read signals, you get a kiss from a girl and a few flirting signals, we can either assume that she wants to sleep with us and go for it and if we're right we've scored but if we're wrong then we've made a bad impression and probably lost all respect and any future chance of anything happening, but if we assume that she doesn't mean anything other than being friendly and we're right then we've got a friend for life but if we're wrong then we've made a bad impression and probably lost all respect and any future chance of anything happening, so both assumptions have the same negative but as for the positives if we choose the friend for life we will probably never get laid(unfortunately for me i always choose friend for life so I've got no chance of ever getting laid), and that's why most guys choose the getting laid scenario because if they're wrong there's plenty more fish in the sea

Generally speaking guys only kiss people they want to sleep with, so they naturally assume that the opposite applies if a girl kisses them. I agree with one of the answers above, if you want to save confusion and uneccesary name calling just don't kiss them! Also I guess that a kiss means more to some people than others.
