Ooh "kiss my face".
Alan partridge is one of the funniest I've seen, but its a tough choice because Father Ted is one of my favourites too.Although I will have to go for Monty Python as I think it still influences most comedy programmes today

Seinfeld. Changed comedy TV forever. M*A*S*H is a good number 2. Watch out for South Park and Family Guy ( best writing on TV.)

Does this include sitcoms? I guess Alan Partridge was kind of a sitcom especially in the 2nd series, I'll go for Black Books series one :-D

Nothing beats the old favourite, Morcombe and Wise shows. Classic comedy that never loses the laughter factor!

Only fools and Horses was one of my all time favs, it never dates, even when I watch some of the real old stuff, it still makes me laugh
