How can I get a modeling agent?

Firstly do not go to a modeling agency without a portfolio as they will want you to get one and these can be very expensive, you best bet is to get a friend to take a lot of photos of you with a digital camera (in different clothes and backgrounds) and then select a 10-20 really nice photos and create a digital portfolio which you can put this on line and just have business cards with the link on, a lot cheaper than having them printed. examples of work can be provided on request. just message me here if you want, i am a professional website designer but have lots of free time (and enough money) so i am currently doing free sites for small bands, small artist etc, basically anyone who could not afford them otherwise.

See if you can get in touch with the Tyra Banks show. She likes to help people get into that kind of career. She even helped a woman get out of porn and stuff and encourages women to stay away from the stripping business because it won't get you respect and a career later on.
If you find anyone, make sure you have someone to back you up and observe if your getting involved with a shady agent.

for one, there hard to find,and you have to be very carefull with all the tricks guys use to get a women for modeling, guys make promises, and say they know this one and that one, and they really dont, its just to get you in front of there camera and into there pad, the best and safest place is at a theater where they have plays, and you watch for a movie scout, like where i live in kitchener, they have alot of famous people come here to put on shows at the ceneter square, or at yuk,yuks, good luck sweetie, and dont jump into anything to fast.

When you are looking, only go to the reputable adgencies. You should not ever have to pay for your shots, and join an extras adgency too.

go to a photographer who wants to take your pics.
tfp=time for prints.
u shoot for him for free..u get pics in return.
then post your pics on modeling sites.
LEGIT ones.

Be careful and look into something that is real make sure they have real credentials.
