When you get sunburned the sun burnes you to a crisp. Which means your skin is very dry. You should use sunburn aloe vera lotion and put it on your skin. When the lotion drys up reapply it. keep o napplying it and your sunburn should be gone in know time. Remeber to keep your skin moisterised at all times with that lotion.

As someone who's been sunburned so bad I've gotten blisters from it, here are my suggestions:

Drink a LOT of water. It helps keep your skin hydrated.
Take a mild painkiller like Advil, Motrin, something like that.
Slather on aloe vera gel and sit near a fan to cool down the heat of the burn.

Do not not not not not use Vasoline or any lotions, they will trap in the heat and you'll go insane! :(

Get yourself a bottle of Vitamin E oil for when you start peeling, to reduce the "eww, there's crusty skin all over my face" effect.

And maybe try the oil cleansing method (OCM) while your face is sunburnt - it should help hydrate it and remove dirt in a less painful way than washing it with soaps.

Sunburn is hard to "cure" but these things should help lessen the pain of it. And next time, get yourself some super SPF 50 sunscreen and reapply it hourly... that's seriously the only thing that works for me, besides wearing a hat and sweatshirt or just staying indoors (*smotes her fair skin*).

I'm afraid that I don't know for sure the quickest way, but my mother would always have me apply aloe to my sunburns.

Vitamin E and Aloe. Put on frequently (2-4x) throughout the day. Be careful not to get it in the eyes.

Ice packs also help reduce the swelling, redness and itching.

Aloe helps make the sunburn stop hurting and it makes it go away faster. I suggest you try that.

If you have a Wal-Mart near by go and get some aloe vera gel and gently and sparingly put some around your eyes where it is burnt
