Is just a question about why the organisation does not want video support.

I am best inform about the W.C.
I am a ref and I am a firm supporter of video replays to help refs on the field. That's what I was talking about.

You seem to be rather misinformed. The World Cup is a 2 1/2 year long tournament encompassing over 1,000 games from about 205 teams (more countries involved than are in the United Nations). The final 32 teams meet in the month-long 64-game World Cup final after 31 of them have qualified from earlier stages of the tournament from the six regions. The host nation is automatically entered in the final stage.

The last two matches in the Final Stage Tournament are for 3rd-4th place and the championship for 1st and 2nd. After qualifying for the knockout stage in the eight groups, teams must win to keep playing as the tournament narrow down from 16 teams, to 8, to 4 and then to 2 teams in the Championship game.

Video support? Almost half the people on earth will see the championship game on July 9th, roughly two billion viewers. If that's not 'video support' what is?

No, you have to win or come second in the preliminaries, then proceed through the 16 knock-out teams to reach the final. The only benefit for the host team is that they do not have to qualify for the preliminaries.................
