i want to do exercises at home which dont require any equipment ..

Hi-

I'm a certified trainer and spinning instructor, I have clients that workout 2 hrs a day, every day, and have been doing so for years. However, when the think they are working so hard that they don't need to watch thier diet the scale rats them out.


Your diet is your most effective tool against weight loss, proper exercise is secondary and will, above all, help control the kind of weight you lose.

SO, you need to make a total commitment. For exercise at home you can walk, push-ups, situps, dips with a couple chairs, running is good for some, but be careful. You can purchase a set of adjustable dumbels that fit in a breifcase sized box that will suit most of your needs, also, you can find inexpensive rubber band devices that will suit your initial needs and take up little or no space.

Drink plenty of water, eat 5 small, balanced,meals per day, monitor your sugar intake, eat tons of veggies, some fruit and lean meats, count calories and find a level where you are comfortable. At 55kg you are no heavyweight, and can probably eat around 1200 cals per day..

And everything counts, the milk in your coffee, your soft drinks, your wine...... even your condiments!

If walking is an option walk one to two miles a day, you can break it up. Ck out fitday.com, it is a free internet thing to help you keep track of the things that you eat, the amount of excerise you do and it is wonderful, i use it. One of the things I do is mow the lawn every 3 days. I am your age and it is a battle. Get active with the housework, you burn calories doing that as well. If you have a dog, walk the dog. Learn some new recipies off the internet. Watch the junk food and fast food restraunts. Once you get a program going weigh yourself once a week and follow along with the amount of calories your body needs each day. I eat the minimum, and enjoy preparing healty snacks. It is really a fun project. Lots of water, no cokes. Positive attitude. Also, if you get the channel fitv they have lots of excercise programs to choose from. I like the yoga/pilates. I get plenty of stretching and toning. You are worth it and will feel great about yourself.

My sister is used to be a big person (after she had a baby) but she's losing weight now because she's always exercising everyday with this video exercise. Is just a matter of determination.

I dont know of any excersize you can at home, but I always find a good walk is good if I cant get to the gym. A 1/2 hour, 40 minutes, a few times a week does a world of good.

Dance!!!! I'm the same age as you, and I dance all around the house, I go dancing three nights a week, and it's great if you love music because you get a lot of exercise and enjoy it! Working out in a gym bores me to tears but it's great when you DANCE.

First question is, How tall are you? Unless you are under 150cm you don't need to lose, maybre just tighten. Try walking and crunches. Old stuff but they work
