Unlike some of the answers here, the Big Bang theory in layman's terms, Imagine space filled with dark matter no planets comets or any objects at all. This matter made up of matter and a certain amount of antimatter over time (lots of time) with mutual attraction came together and started to form a gigantic singularity, whose gravity increased and mass increased pulling in more and more matter and anti matter after a long time these amount reached a critical point and the matter and antimatter tried to cancel each other causing an explosion or big bang. All the matter now super heated was flung out into the dark matter space. As huge clumps of this super heated matter was flung out they stuck together to form smaller milky-ways centered around black holes (smaller singularities) which formed to the spirals we know today, the know universe after the big bang is approx 5billion light years across.

The Big Bang is a theory. It says about how comets and rocks crashed together to cause a clump of spinning matter which later became the Earth. I think it also says that that was how the other planets were also formed.

There has been considerable talk that the big bang was caused when a ripple occurred in the infinite vacuum of space.

We don't know exactly. Astronomers are only able to narrow the big bang down to less than a second after it actually happened, and not to the actual origin. But God knows, ask him when you go to heaven.

I believe that all matter was compressed into a small bundle which eventually couldn't handle the force and exploded, sending all matter whirling. All the matter would eventually begin spinning, thus beginning the idea of solar systems. That is the scientific explination of earth and life, just a big explosion.

Possibly, the Emptiness existing at the same instant as the Nothingness, got a slight bit of each other intertwined and like the Yin Yang symbol, became one. The glow of potential began to burn and ignited, BOOM! All the elements of time, (motion, light and space) realized form.

i think this theory have no strong evidence to believe.if we guess how it might caused, there is a new suggestion by scientists.that is string theory.Go on looking for string theory you may get some clues and i left the question for your imagination.
