Brett will have a huge impact on the Pack this year. He did last year too even though he threw 29 picks. It wasn't his fault that Javon Walker, Ahman Green, Najeh Davenport, and his entire offensive line got hurt in the same year. If he didn't play last year the packers wouldve been like 1-15 rather than 4-12. This year he could bounce back if he has some healthy help.

Although Favre may be the best quarterback to ever play the game, I'm afraid the Packers just don't have the depth. Favre's impact will be more of leadership for the younger players in the locker room. He'll need a lot more help on the field than he presently has to get to .500.

If the WR's catch the ball, the OL blocks, the TE's do their jobs, the RB's stay healthy, and the overall D plays at a high level, Brett Favre will definitely have an impact.
A new set of coaches will also help a great deal.

I was born in Green Bay and have been a lifelong Packer fan.
Brett has unfortunately been nothing but a distraction at best, his heart ain't in it and if he had missed a game already (and ended his streak of consecutive games) he would not even be thinking about playing. Best thing to happen to the Packers would be if he got a super-serious hangnail and couldn't play in the first game. Then he'd retire and the team could get on with its business.

I am attending the game as a Pats fan in late November, I sure hope that Brett still has the magic of years past. I think that the fact he had enough faith to come back, I recall him saying that he would come back only if the team on the field was good enough to compete would he be back.. I hope so. It would be a sad day if he was to go out like last year. Of course that being said, I am hoping m,y team wins that Sunday November19th...

He is going to be a cancer and a major distraction. I am a die hard Chicago Bears fan and I respect what he has done for the Packers. But after his holdout to determine if he is going to play, and then saying that he is not going to help or train Aaron Rogers - he seems to have turned into a real jerk. I don't respect him like I used to - he has really done a turn-around in attitude. He could really help the team if he could tone down his ego and be alittle bit more humble.

Very little impact. Farve is a future Hall of Famer. To make an impact you need support. Green Bay has no support to give him. None from the coaches, or from the team. I think he will go out a hero, but green bay will finsih last in the division

are you blind or did not you watch last season. the packers went 4-12. do oyu know how embarrassing that must be. then that old skeleton wants to go for another season. he is already considered a hall of famer. i think he shold retire. his presence is hindering the team rather than helping them.

If he has the backup that he needs, the packers can do some serious playing this year, even go to playoffs. but he needs the support of the whole team.
