Hi Ray,
Thank you for the question.
I'm a gay man, now 38 -- and I've been wondering this for decades.
The theory on the far Right goes pretty much as follows:
All the gays want the exact same things and they all work together. We all have a very clear agenda, which includes controlling government, "brainwashing" kids to make them gay and obtaining "special" rights. Various particularly wingy groups add other things to that, but the standard version is pretty much as I've given it.
Problem is of course it doesn't exist, any more than the ZOG (Zionist Occupied Government) ever existed. Not such a popular bogeyman on the Right now, the ZOG still has its followers, many of whom also believe in the Gay Agenda, and some of whom believe that the leaders of the ZOG are using the leaders of the Gay Agenda, along with the "Mud People" in order to overthrow White Christianity. (No, I am not making ANY of this up).
The reality is of course that there is no Gay Agenda, (well other than the magazine of that title made in caricature of the idea). Yes, its true, most gays (just over 65% from my understanding of exit polling) vote Democratic. I'm among that 65% -- however, 35% give their votes and a great deal of money to the Republicans -- given the Republican hatred of us, I don't quite grasp that -- but it isn't my business. Yes, I think that there should be education on diversity in the schools -- but no, I don't want anyone brainwashed, even if it were possible -- which it clearly isn't. I would appreciate it if straight run schools stopped brainwashing little gay boys and girls to hate themselves -- but...
First I suppose there would have to general acceptance that homosexuality was not a choice -- and many of those people who believe in the Gay Agenda also believe that one day you wake up and say to yourself, "I'm not going to like women anymore, I'm gonna like men" -- or visa versa, and that this "willful decision" is where gays come from, cause after you say that, you never like the opposite sex again. Yes, its ludicrous on the face of it, so let me repeat I'm not making ANY of this up. Since to those Right wingers we are trying to "convert" people (yes like religious conversion only with sexual preference) -- they will fight to the bitter end to prevent us from ever having gay children respected because they want to prevent more people from "converting." One of the large scale Right wing leaders -- it might have been Falwell, or maybe Robertson or one of the other big names said once, and I heard the clip, that if we were allowed to be thought of as equal we would become more accepted and we might "convert" enough people that the race might die out. I heard echoes of that breathtakingly unrealistic argument for months thereafter from people on the hard right. It was both appalling and amusing at the same time, to realize how many people were willing to swallow such a patently false argument. Of course it also makes me wonder if these people are themselves possibly bisexual -- and have spent their lives denying the part of themselves that wants men.
So is there a gay agenda? No. Do people think there is? On the Right yes. I've given you something of a definition above and I would be glad to discuss it further if you need to.
MY agenda now is to shower and then finish making jelly -- I got a dozen jars made yesterday, and I have another batch of pulp that I made and put in the fridge overnight. Raspberries are in season.
Kind regards,

The " homosexual agenda" as you are saying is this. From what i have heard and read. The anti-gay organizations think that we as gay people. We have this idea that we want to turn every person in the world gay. And that since we are gay that we are second well not even second class like last class of people and deserve no rights. The second part to this is that when we speak up for ourselves we are Turing to get more rights than others. Well when we are just trying to make everything equal. It is basically the civil rights all over again because this is what happened back then. certain groups thought that certain groups of people were below them and that they do not deserve the same things as them selves so with all of that. it is just closed minded people who won't open up because they are scared to see the real world for what it is for. that we don't want to turn everyone gay and that we just want the same rights and privileges as anyone else in this country.

The gay agenda is an imaginary plan of action. Evil people decided it would be easier to "demonize" gay people if they could make them out to be working together to destroy the fabric of society.
Even though many religious fanatics swear this agenda exists and is the worst thing our society could support, I have yet to encounter a gay person who knows anything about it.
If there is a gay agenda at all, it is the same agenda as the founding fathers of the United States had. Equality.
Anybody against EQUALITY is anti-American.
No matter how many lies they tell about gay people, the truth will eventually win. Lies eventually lose power because truth eventually becomes self evident.

They are always using the word "agenda".
When I was in school I was given an agenda to put my homework assignments in and learn quotes everyday left from the makers of that school agenda.
Those doublespeak MF's get on my nerves.
If they have a literal book that has dates and quotes where homosexuals can write in plans and endeavors.....
I WANT ONE!!!
That agenda is awsome.
They shouldn't have one, there soooo spoiled.

What is the Right wing Religious Agenda-to blame Gays for HIV, to blame Gays for the deterioration of Society, to blame gays fro pedophilia, to blame gays for everything and deny them of any equal rights..
SO the homosexual "agenda" is to defend their equal rights and to show that they are humans who deserve the same civil rights as every other citizen and are not the degenerates that religious groups try to portray them as.
However, there are also extreme gay rights organizations who are very much aggressive and try to promote special treatments over the equal treatments of Gays.

Gay Agenda is the name of the bi-weekly magazine published to organize the "homosexualizing" of America.
It's aimed at your everyday gay man (or lesbian), and tell just what he or he/she or she can do to socially engineer a gayer world for us and our nieces and nephews (or own kids for the late comers) to live in.
Unfortunately, it seems one of the American Taliban got ahold of an issue or two, and that's what started the whole bru-ha-ha.

I don't think there ever really was one, but since the republicans don't feel like doing any heavy lifting, like closing the US/Mexico border post-haste, that leaves em with gays to pick on...you know how some people are, just going for the easy money...
