You can pretty much ignore the suggestions about the hard drive being the problem. even if the hard drive completely died it would not neccesarily cause your system to reboot. What you have is a short between the motherboard and the CPU case more than likely.
Unless you are a hardware tech, take the computer into your local repair shop, they should be able to find the short and insulate it from grounding and thus rebooting the computer. I had a similar problem on a computer setup a while back, placed a piece of heavy duty plastic behind the MB and screwed through it, worked fine from then on.

Have had this happen to me as well.
The problem with mine was the main harness plugging into mobo was loose. Every time i closed the desk drawer or bump the cpu it would shut down and reboot.

You are causing a failure in the hard drive. The drive is balanced by centripital force. You may be doing serious, unrepairable damage to the hard drive. One of these times it wont reboot.
