I watched it once totally wasted and let me tell you something it was a totally freaked out movie. I about lost it, it was crazy.

I've seen it before. Yes, there are some crazy parts in the film, but it's not all bad, and you can enjoy a magical adventure and gain hope from it.
The movie was not intended for kids, it was suppose to be an adult and teen movie based on the book "CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY". It was also a commercial for a candy by Quaker Oats which flopped on the shelf.
The new one was worce, with a lot more freak and less fun. Next time, watch any disney film wasted and see what happens. Scarry stuff.

The original movie was called Charlie and the chocolate factory and was a great movie. I find that the original was much more entertaining and had greater ideas than what they did with the new movie. Some orginals should never be remade, especially not with johny Depp staring in it, bad replacement character for willy wonka, not to mention that computer animated oompa loopmas that killed the new movie.

I wasn't impressed and there's a major discrepancy with the book which you don't have in the Burton film.But then in the Burton version you have all this background to Wonka's father which some critics considered totally irrelevant while others,like me, liked it. The new version will definitely freak you out.

I watched the original and I loved it. I loved it so much that I went out and bought it on DVD. I don't really plan on watching the new one because I am getting so sick and tired of them remaking movies. Why can't they just stick to the originals I am sure that they can think of different ideas.

I saw the original one but i think it ws better thn the modern one.
The Depp one ws a totally freaked out movie. It ws complete drag!

I love the original. I think it is much better than tne new one. My team at work even dressed up as Charlie and the oompa-loompas and we one for best costumes last halloween.

Yeah, I've watch it quite a few times and enjoyed it but it does have a dark side to it.

Saw the original, didn't like or dislike, didn't do anything for me...I haven't seen or will see the new one.
