"From new data collected from a space probe examining the Cosmic Background Radiation, astronomers estimate the universe is at least 156 billion light-years wide. Actually, it’s long been known that the universe was a lot wider than 27.4 billion light-years; this latest research tells us how much wider.
According to researchers writing in the journal Physics Review Letters, the universe must have expanded much faster than light in its early stage." *
So take into account that one light year is 9,467,280,000,000 km ** and you get...
1.476895680 x 10^24 km in diameter.
that's 1 octillion, 476 septillion, 895 sextillion, 680 quintillion kilometers wide (or 1 quadrilliard, 476 quadrillion, 895 trilliard, 680 trillion kilometers wide for those following the European system of counting)...and that disregards the continued expansion since the observations.
Of course there are also quite a few scientists who affirm that the universe is infinite, so, in the end, nobody really knows.

You might want to look at this way.
If you fired a bullet from a rifle and assume that the bullet was
traveling at 2000 miles per hour..It would take more than a week
for the bullet to reach the other side of the known universe!

To put it simply...nobody knows. Even if I could give you an exact measurement, it would be incorrect by the time the answer reached you because the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light.

Well, by whaich measure would you like to measure it? By all reports quite big, but as no-ne has been to either end, and even if you went you couldn't see the other, and you'd probably insean from the terrific ripping apart of all concepts of selfimportance that would result.....

It is enormous, and no scientist can really tell you because they could only managed to trace about 10 planets todate.

I dont really know what scientists believe, but i think it is infinite, because if it is not infinite, then what is beyond it?
good luck.
