nope. yahoo is a privately owned website that u are allowed to use. Not government owned. If they wanted to ban everything that mentions yellow chickens, they have that right.

Think your morals might be off a bit there. Big difference is in using common sense and the imbasilic answers I think you are commenting about. Some people confuse freedom of speech with common sense. Common sense of not using foul language is one of the biggest parts of free speech. The good people using Q&A don't want to hear your street language and Yahoo will not tolerate it either. Just plain common sense, abide by the rules set forth by Yahoo or go some place else.

I can see where you're coming from. We're all entitled to our opinions and feelings. And I have often smiled when I asked a question and didn't get the responce I thought I needed. (i.e. they were totally opposite from what I thought.) But that is why I come to this site. i come here to learn about all different kinds of opinions and views. I may not agree with all of it, but that's my perogative.
The only time I have a problem is when someone is abusive when expressing their opinions. You can just as easily say "I don't agree with homosexuals, what do you think?" as opposed to "fuc*in' ******* burn in hell." See what I mean? Or you can answer a question and still be respectful while showing your opinion. What really needs to happen is for everyone to grow up and start acting like adults. This should be a forum for discussion, not just bashing.

I think most get that all wrong anyway.Does it mean you can just sit on a corner and repeat f@#$ over and over.I dont think so!Lets get a grip here, yahoo is a private company. They arent the goverment. You can call the goverment jack booted thugs. But they arent really but you can say it.And who is going to believe you anyway. The radical right wing off shoot of the NRA that the NRA dont want you saying that either,I dont understand why the goverment has to protect free speachers.I would think they would only allow it.And go after the ones who try to stop you.Try stand over in China and speak your mind.you will find out what rice tastes like.Say something meaningful instead of cussing.I have a foul mouth but I dont think that is protected.

YES!
They gave me two violations becfause they didn't like what I said about republicans and this administration. They took back all my points too.
I don't know, but if I get suspended yahoo can keep their answers for themselves. Come on. Why can't I talk about how I feel like this country is going in the wrong direction - without losing points?
Its like they stalk my political answers.
Do you think that its a vast right wing consiparcy to ban free speech?

I had an answer deleted before in the present day that became very for sure in straight forward words finished because it became a own opinion of a YA team besides as yet another reader. notwithstanding, it became very, very gentle compared to a minimum of 0.5 of what I study on politics section. i must have extremely struck a nerve with someone - a reality that someone purely couldn't stay with. i imagine it is going to proceed to ensue because no individual seems to have an activity in replacing it.

Yahoo! It is controlled by the government. Sold our information to the government. So use the google search engine if you want to find something important, at least it is the only one standing up against the big brother.

Your right to free speech is null on private servers. Yahoo can do whatever they want and censor whomever they want. And it's perfectly acceptable. it's just not good for business if they do.
Besides, Yahoo administrators don't go looking around with the banhammer, it's usually other users who report you for violations.

Then open your own website to answer questions. I notice that most people that scream about free speach haven't got much to say. People love to cry about their rights but very few want to live up to their responsibilities.
