and come to think of it, the hymen can be lost during sports, so a guy can never actually know a girl is not a virgin unless she tells him.

It's not the hymen that makes a difference, it's the act of having sex... Virginity is a big deal for people who believe in god.. you know, the whole sex before marriage thing. We over here in the west don't care about it because no one cares about it. It's not a big deal to have sex before marriage anymore. It used to be but as time passes things lose their significance , and over here in the west.. it's religion. Guys in the east still care about their religion.. that's why they're hell bent on virgin brides.

Virginity is a rare thing nowadays, In the west you may find 1% max, in the east... its getting there.

Guys in the east will not spare an oppurtunity but when they get married they want Virgins. There are Doctors in Gujarat ( India) who operate you & bring you back to the Virginity stage..

It is a big deal..Because if everyone waited to have sex until the got married. There wouldn't be the rate if HIV killing millions, and millions of people. There would be any babies to murder due to unwanted pregnancies, and there should as hell wouldn't be millions of foster kids in foster homes waiting to be placed in a home that would love them. Most never get placed in homes. In fact the day the turn 18 they kick them out on the streets.

So trust me..There's a big deal which makes a big difference!

The tissue doesn't dictate my preference for a lover, but it shows a great deal about the character of the person who still possesses it. Its Darwinisn revisited in contemporary life that one would look for the best to procreate with.

i was a virgin when i married my husband. we have been together faithfully for almost 23 years. recently during a re vows ceremony we were talking and he told me that our wedding night and me giving him my virginity was the best gift he has ever received because i chose to stay a virgin until that time. so of course i cried like a baby, lol. its not about the guys its about the girl and what she wants. i wanted to be married before i had sex

It's NOT a big deal. It's just the ignorance of both cultures.

Virginity shouldn't be an issue when determining who you want to date.

because this is like an evidence that you are still innocent. some guys are happy and proud to be the first one to get your innocence because no one else after him could do that. lol.
