Someone told me there was no age limit in Germany but I don't know for sure. He said they even put beer in infants baby bottles. Is this true or is he messing with me?

I found this interesting site.

Apparently youths can drink as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

In many European countries there is no hard paternalism from the government with regards to alcohol. Most parents are responsible enough to introduce alcohol and teach moderation and appreciation
Ages for entering clubs and restaurants is usually 16-18. To equate alcohol with drunkenness is the same as blaming gross obesity on food. Moderation is learned behavior. American style binge drinking is shame full and shows no respect for the beauty and complexity of beers, wines, and spirits.

Hello I spent 4 years in Germany and I understand that if a child is tall enough to reach over the bar they can drink. I'm not sure about the bottle thing though. I understand most of Europe is that way.

In the Philippines i have seen kids even 9 years old drinking beer and doing a lot of things that would get their parents in jail in many other countries, but nobody said nothing about it, but by law there is an age limit in the Philippines, its just that nobody follows it.
About the beer being put in baby buttles for babys to drink, i dont think is for real.

good luck.
