The University of Cincinnati has a strong engineering program. It was also the first university to start a co-op program.
The Department has a budget of about $8 million per year and the undergraduate program incorporates a cooperative education component in which students complement their academic curriculum with on-the-job training for six quarters before graduation.
Plus, compared to some other schools, UC is fairly affordable and gives out great financial aid packages. The university just finished a huge recreation center and several other construction projects. There is a ton to do in Cincinnati as well and it is a great place to live.
