I've been noticing these stupid flies in my apt tonight. guess oe or two got in today or sometime maybe hatched eggs I don't know. All I know is they are so annoying. What is the best way to get rid of these? do fly stickies work? should I wear my skin so soft to get them away from me LOL I am desperate! help!

The sticky strips do work. But fly spray is the way to go. To reduce the amount of flies that get in, make sure all your doors and windows remain closed throughout the day. Keep food that may be fly attracting in the refrigerator.

Ask your cat. We have had sudden infestations of flies for no apparent reason, and I mean hundreds of them, and it turns out the cat was responsible. They like to catch things like mice, and if they catch it outside they like to bring it into the house, where they like to dump it behind a couch or some other hiding place where you can't see it. The mouse-corpse attracts a fly which lays a hoarde of eggs and soon you are overrun with flies. We've had this happen twice over the years, and both times it was because of the sneaky cat.
If your cat ever comes running in with its head down low chances are it has a mouse in the mouth and is running it to drop it behind a chair.

Hm,
Maybe you could trap them with sugar water. Check where they are coming from. And, hang some little glass vases or whatever you have. Fill with a nice sugar water mix, I'd say as close to 50/50 as you can. They just can't resist sugar water, and you don't need to buy anything!

hanging fly tape works really well.
