You need to reformat and reinstall Windows.

To format your harddrive you will need to get a recovery disc or a Windows CD.
No boot disc is necessary unless you are trying to install Windows 95.
The recovery disc will usually come with your computer, if you dont have one, you will need to call your computer manufacturing company and order one.
The recovery disc and the windows CD will partition your harddrive and it will wipe out your memory and start from fresh.

Yes it is easy!
Go to this site and d/load the free version of KILLDISK.
http://www.killdisk.com/
Copy to 3.5 floppy and then insert a Windows 98 boot floppy.

But first of all...do you need any files on PC (eg: fotos, music, movies) ...if not follow instructions at part A. Otherwise go to part B.

Part A:
Follow the instructions below exactly, be patient and I guarantee it will work.
Reboot and when disk had done loading, remove and replace with KILLDISK.
Type Killdisk.exe at the Command Prompt (a:\) and follow your nose from there.

Create Win98 boot if U dont have one. Search web or use link for smartdrv.exe then get it going dude.

INFO: Windows XP Clean Installation from Dos
What You Need:
* Windows XP CD
* Windows 98 Or Millennium Start-up Disk.
* Smartdrv.exe Which Can Be Downloaded HERE http://gktronics.topcities.com/smartdrv.... If Needed.

Copy smartdrv.exe To Your Start-up Disk.

Boot With Start-up Disk And Format Your Hard Disk.

Type smartdrv.exe And Enter at The A:\> prompt.
You Must Load Smartdrv.exe or You Will Be Setting Up
For the Next 3 Days!

Type e: And Enter, assuming Your CD Drive Letter Is "E".

Now Type cd i386 And Enter, Then winnt And Enter.
Follow The Installation Instructions. It Will Look As
Though Your Computer Has Hanged, But Let It Run!

In Some Cases It Will Say It Can't Read Certain Files,
That's Ok Because Dos Can't Read The New File Types.
Hit esc Till Finished. The Files Can Be Added Later.

It Might, At Some Point Say It Can’t Find Certain Files.
That’s Because Dos Put The Installation Files In A Temp
Directory In The Beginning. Hit esc Till Done.

After XP Has Started, Click "Start" Then "Run".
Be Sure Your Windows XP CD Is Still In The Drive.
Type cmd And Enter. Now Type cd\windows\system32 And Enter.
Finally Type sfc /scanall.
The Files That Couldn't Be Copied Will Now Be Installed.

And..guess what: XP is right there in front of you - enjoy!

Enjoy your new system.

What do u mean all the original codes? I guess u mean everything on there. And how well do u wanna wipe it, i guess that asks the q why u wanna wipe it? If u wanna clean start cos of operating sys problems then u dont really need to wipe unless ur not bothered about losing some stuff and gettin all the drivers again.
If u wanna wipe cos of some illegal **** the previous advice wont get u in the clear, and i aint gonna tell u how in case ur a paedophile- anyone else aint really gotta worry have they?

To completely whip clean the hard-drive use Darik's Boot and Nuke. You can download a copy here.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/Dariks_Boot_and_Nuke_CDRCDRW_Version_d4596.html

CAUTION!!!! this program needs to be downloaded then copied to a floppy, or CD first.
LABEL THIS DISK so as not to accidentally insert it later.
IT WILL ERASE EVERYTHING ON YOUR HARD-DRIVE.
Your hard-drive will be exactly like new. (No data)
Just formatting a hard-drive ONLY erases the directory, It will still contain data that can be retrieved with a little effort.
With your hard-drive like new, just insert your operating system disk and follow the on screen instructions.

Most people should do this before selling their computer because it probably contains a TON of personal data, checking accounts, credit card numbers if you have ever bought anything on the net or just personal data when you signed up for your internet service. (e-mail Passwords and accounts, etc...)
Formating or re-installing windows will NOT ERASE all data, only a program like the one above will.

Do you have a copy of Windows? Full Version, not an ug.

You should be able to install right from the disk. If not, you will need a DOS boot disk, and your OS disk.

How are you going to wipe the drive? DOS? I know I am probably not a help, need more info!

If you are talking XP, boot from the CD, and you can reinstall it. As you get to the process it will ask you if you want to delete the old OS, which you do and then you can reformat you hard disk and reinstall XP.
