They are an endangered species in Oklahoma. In fact that goes for most of the Central Plains States, like North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, etc. Not sure about Texas, they do have a Coastline.

Not sure about why. I suspect it had something to do with statehood and learning legislative procedures. Going to represent their state in Congress and the Senate they had to have some governing expertise under their belts. Gotta remember, the East coast was pretty snobbish to the rest of the nation because "nya, nya, nya they were here first" and some were descended from European aristocracy.

Ok here it is, it's a good one. Greenpeace is trying to save the whales and are on all the butts of Oil producing states to do clean-up of oil spills. EVERY state. Oklahoma produces oil. It's not hunting whales, it's protecting whales. By not having a protection law on the books they are open to lawsuits by Greenpeace. Sigh. . . . the world is getting weirder every day. Look up Oklahoma and Whales on the Internet. Sheesh!

You are saying that is an actual written law that can be found in state records / i am saying that it was some lawmakers misuse of taxpayers money by making up random laws while on the clock just to pass time while getting paid for it..
