No, I feel that the best way to sell something or to get business is communication. Without that, where would we be? I admire those people who have enough perseverance to continue to attract customers over the Internet.

Hey, I don't like Mary Kay, it's fun to have parties, but I've tried all of it and prefer AVON it seems to work alot better and better selections, the Mary Kay people should be out there trying to sell their products instead of being on the computer all day! And by the way, don't ever become a seller, my neice tried it one time, couldn't get anyone to buy from her, then she was stuck with all this stuff she couldn't use and it cost her 100.00 or more. It should't cost you money to sell someone elses products. You can sell Avon for 10.00 bucks.

Well i think they are just trying to be helpful. Since they do sell cosmetics what better place to give advice and promte they're products then on here where people ask questions and suggestions for a variety of different things. I am an Avon rep and I do try and be helpful to everyone on here and I do suggest our products as well as others i have tried. Just give them a break, they are just trying to promote and help people out. Its they're job!!!

Yes, i have a cousin-in-law who sells mary-kay so we get constant "samples" its really over priced and doesn't work as good as some of the GENERIC brands of makeup you can find at any local store. I'll say one thing for mary kay: take your allergy tests before hand.. specially if you have younger children.. mary kay is not hypoallergenic in any way, and can damage sensitive skin.. i've found that my daughter is allergic to most of their products and it leaves her with red blistered skin... and its the -only- thing she is allergic to! (and a word to the wise.. their "bath paints" for children.. stain your bathtub permanently.. i wouldnt suggest them.

I have noticed that, too. I don't care for Mary Kay at all; a lot of it smells terrible!
