the line is actually.... surrey down to a stoned soul picinic. Im just guessing but they might be referring to those surrey buggies used years ago. Meaning taking a ride down to the picinic... but what a "stoned soul picnic" is. The stoned I understand LOL but yeah.. these are some pretty weird lyrics

The actual title of the song is Stoned Soul Picnic...by Laura Nero...so those words might have a new meaning for you in this song!

I don't know but I loved Fifth Dimension. I loved the songwriter of this song, Laura Nyro, even more.
