i am a young male who has been abstintent for many years.
i just wanted to see if my holding out will actually be rewarded when i find my true love.
i mean are their girls that are abstinent also?
is it stupid of me to be absantent?

I'm abstinent and I've never had sex .It wonderful to be abstinent with so many disease's it's the only real protection and waiting till you found the right one is that much better and will make your sexual encounter more meaningful.

I think you should do whatever is true to who you are. Being abstinent can be a gift you give to yourself. It's not written in stone because you're the author. If a woman tries to make you feel stupid about it or talk you out of it, you should move on because she's not for you at this point in your life. Good luck

I know you asked for answers from women, but what the heck?
well if its what you believe then its what you should do, we can only hope everybody lives by their ideals. with that said, is it equally important that your mate do the same? because what if you fall in love with someone you think is perfect and thinks the same about you but they haven't saved themselves for anybody? Personally I don't believe people can know enough about their partner until they've been as intimate as they can with eachother. The level of intimacy that comes with having a sexual relationship is in my opinion necessary to know if this person is someone you can spend the rest of your life with. Sex is too important for you to find out on the wedding night that one of you has a problem with what the other wants. But thats just me

no its not stupid. yes there are women out there who are also abstinent. you are being rewarded now by not getting STD's
