if you want honesty, this probably means she doesn't fancy you. she's being nice. if you push it she will be forced to tell you straight and that will ruin your friendship!
think about it. can you be friends with her or will it drive you crazy?
can you stand to see her with someone else?
it may happen.
if not then cut your ties and find someone who appreciates you too.
i bet your a great person and you definitely deserve a two way relationship.

Well you laid your cards on the table and she told you straight out that she prefers you as a mate and however hard that may be to swallow maybe its best. You might not be right for each other now, but maybe later on when you've both grown up a bit more. Until then stay friends with her, after all if you can't date her just being in her life will enable you to love her in other ways

I think it's sweet that u think u may be in love. Anyway, the problem. Does she know? By the sound of ur question, I'd say she does. If I were u (if it didn't get too uncomfortable for u) then I would stay friends with her and wait to see if she realises she likes u the same way. Good luck :)

Well I'd be her mate... I mean hell there's nothing one can do but just accept what the other wants... Like you can't force them to do something that you want... So, in this case, I'd be her mate, and start dating other people... And hell there are alot of other girls out there... Don't stop just because of this one person that you like... Keep looking until you find the one that likes you back...

Swallow my pride, carry on being her mate, try very hard not to get jealous if she goes out with another guy (a tricky one, that) and hold a torch for her til either I go off her or the day I die, whichever is the sooner.

woow, thats a hard one, but u gat let go, if u reali care abt this gal, being m8s with her is better than not having her in yr life, respect her feelings, en sure sometime she will realise how much u like her...dnt push her away tho'.
sometimes u can try getting closer to her m8s, this my give her 2nd thgts, en she may reconsider, after gettin a lil jealous....

Be there as friend for her, if you can be just friends with her but try to lessen the love you feel for her because she has said you can just be friend. Maybe when she knows you better she can also like you the way you do but as I have said don't put your hopes so high

thats good at least she wants you to be a mate never be angry jsut be ok she might come to you other wise and realise that yeah your alright to be with be if you really want a girl and feel she doesn't want you still keep looking for others and if you ever found someone and she sees you with them she might even realise her mistake for saying no if she says why did you go to some one else because i thought you like me be straight to her you said you just want to be mates and if she realise you dont have a girlfriend anymore go to her again she might come ill hand it to you though because not alot of guys ask girls out and keep their feelings to them selves its so good you did that at least.

Lol I'd wait up for her and be faithul. That is if you're really sure that you want her not only for her beauty but for her entirety man! I think the girl would admire you more when she sees how dedicated you are in courting her..
