I think Germany lost second World war because of
1. It lacked Leadership: Hitler was not open to any councelling based on facts and reality. He was sorrounded by sycophants, who only uttered what he liked.
2. It opened too many fronts at the same time. Fighting on all fronts took it's toll. The same mistake that Napolean did was repeated.
3. In the game of numbers, the sophisticated German machinery was outnumbered by the russians with simple but effective design
4. And finally, the odds were very much against Germany with just three countries against the rest of the world.

Germany lost the war by spreading there limited resources to thin over to many fronts.They ran out of supplies, soldiers, fuel, food, just about everything. They were relying also on soldiers from the country's they conquered to replace the losses of its army This only happened on a limited basis. Also Hitlers vision of a superior master race -that was to rule the world was science fiction to all but a few brainwashed Germans. also the total control by Der Fuhrer, with out a check and balance system in place helped to bring them down.

Two key mistakes Hitler made:
1. Stalingrad. Hitler broke the non-aggression pact he signed with Stalin. After taking Leningrad and Moscow, the Germans advanced to Stalingrad, where the Soviets fought almost literally to the last man. They spent the winter of 1942-43 fighting, and as many German soldiers died from the cold as from Soviet bullets.

2. The Holocaust. By the end of the War, Hitler devoted more resources to the Final Solution than winning the war.

They spread themselves too thin on many different levels. They were fighting in Russia, France, Poland, Italy, Africa, Great Britain, and more. Germany operated on the Blitzkrieg theory. Go in blazing and crazy and maybe you can strike fear in your enemy. This worked on many fronts. Others like Russia were cause for great losses. Germany also spread itself thin in an Industrial sense as well. If they just committed to building the panzer tank and stopped make the U rockets (used to bomb Paris and London) they would have Been able to hold there ground in Europe.
Hitler was also a strong supporter of propaganda and spent many important military dollars on films that mocked up Germany as an unbeatable force. Rather these films showed great weakness in Hitler as a leader.
