Well summer time is the best time to try and sell global warming. The lib mush brains are all saying "Man it's hot and I'm sweating.I have to help Igor I mean Al Gore do some thing about global warming."
What is it with Science?I mean history is full of climate change. How do they come to the conclusion that we are causing it?Must be that faulty public school education and Liberal college indoctrination.Just because two things occur at roughly the same time does not mean one causes the other.Isn't there any one who demands some evidence any more to support and or prove the link?
I would really like to see some incontrovertible facts before we allow these Libs to start demanding that we scuttle our energy production and manufacturing infrastructures. The third world life ain't for me.

You use the words, "Liberal Nonsense". What does the word liberal mean? Could it be an antonym for stingy? Have you ever traveled out side of the United States, maybe to Europe or some other Continent?

What you need to do is LISTEN to what Gore is saying. Even the most noted scientists in the country said his documentary was scientifically accurate.
Assuming you're a relatively young person, and assuming you will live to your normal life's expectancy, you need to prepare yourself for what's going to happen in your future - long after rabble-rousers like your heroes Beck and Limbaugh are dead and gone.
As temperatures rise and the polar ice caps melt, massive flooding - unlike anything ever witnessed in the past several centuries - will inundate the Earth, eradicating coastlines and destroying property. Even the Great Lakes will be affected, as will other large bodies of water all over the world. If the temperature of the Earth rises by as little as two degrees, it will affect agriculture, which means the variety and abundance of food available at your local supermarket won't be quite as available anymore. So, if you can't eat, you will die.
Global warming is a product of our own recklessness over the past century. Pollution-laden automobiles, smoke-belching factories, and untold man-made destruction of our Earth's fragile eco-systems will result in your not being able to eat or breathe as well as you do today. Drinking water will become less readily available (and more than likely big corporations will capture the market so you'll have to buy water that will cost as much [or more] than gasoline). While you might not see any relevance to all the plants and animals that exist here on Earth, they all serve a purpose, and all contribute something to the ecological balance of nature. That, my friend, is what allows human beings (a species of which I presume you're a member) to thrive and sustain themselves. Many plants and animals provide nourishment, medical remedies, oxygen, and other elements necessary to YOUR life. If global warming alters these components; if McDonald's keeps cutting down rainforests so it can raise cheap beef and sell you a burger for a buck; if we keep asphalting rich farmland over and erecting new buildings; if we keep killing off species of snakes, spiders, frogs, elephants, birds, fish, and coral reef (which is a marine animal), the end result will be that we will eventually kill off our own species. Without all the other species on Earth, YOU DIE!!
So, while you continue to squander our environment by refusing to even REUSE, RETURN or RECYCLE (just because you're too damn lazy to do it, and it's easier to throw it in the trash and have it hauled to a landfill); while you continue to ignore the importance of other plants and animals on this planet; while you only concern yourself about the next NASCAR race; and while you make jokes about global warming and how it's insignificant to your life, YOU'RE KILLING YOURSELF and your children, and your grandchildren and your great-grandchildren. -RKO-

Have you seen the movie? I didn't think so.
Go see "An Inconvenient Truth" and THEN come back and ask the question. I bet your question will change. In fact, your question might become, "What do we do about global warming?"
One interesting experiment Mr. Gore performed in his global warming research was to examine peer-reviewed scientific literature to determine the percentage of scientists who reject the warming thesis. Out of 600+ peer-reviewed papers on global warming, ZERO papers rejected the warming thesis.
He then went back to examine the press stories on global warming. 52% of press stories reject the warming thesis. Gore then asked what the source of the disconnect is between real science and the science reported in the press?
The analogy for what is happening is the early days of the disputed link between cigarettes and cancer. Medical scientists were seeing the link (their patients, after all, were dying of smoking related diseases right under their noses) but the cigarette companies were confusing the public by supporting their own, biased research and engaging in outright misinformation in order to prevent their industry from being regulated.
The same thing is happening today with global warming. The energy sector is confusing the public- well, really only confusing naive conservatives, in order to keep their industry from being regulated and their costs from rising.
...as the planet slowly dies under their noses.

Like any faith, it's an uphill battle to counter their view with reason & evidence. So long as the culture is lopsided with mystics, the irrational & subjectivists; and the product of that: statists & collectivists, you can't win. What's needed is an effort to clean out the intellectual stables that have tons of horse crap in them. This needs to start at the humanities departments of the universities.
