If it the electric shaver, which ones best - philps with their rotary heads or the foil types?

The rotary heads work good on dry skin, but cleaning, maintanance and expense of the blades is a pain. I think old fashioned wet shaving with a good 3-blade razor is best.

Well, I don't need to shave (except my legs) but as a mere woman I would say - for convenience, it must be liberating for men to have electric rasors.

But I have a wonderful memory of watching my father doing a wet shave every morning. (I know, I haven't resolved my Oedipal crisis)

I've heard from male friends that a wet shave is smoother.

Sadly, my partner refuses to try this and swears by his Philips.
