Basically I just dont understand why it is like this. If people are poor and they CANT pay their bills because they CANT make enough to cover it, why are the punished more for this stupid credit score system set up by banks to keep people in a set area for their whole life. This is for people who are honestly trying to make it in the world, going to school working full time and not have a million kids.

It will take an average of 7-10 years to clean up your credit and get your credit score high enough to help you. I did it and so can you. It takes a lot of work and commitment, but it well worth it. Start by paying your monthly bills (utilites etc), contact the companies you have bills with and explain your position. Most will work with you. Good luck *smiles*
